✨ A Little About Me ✨

My love for painting started many years ago with those small bottles of acrylic paint. Something about mixing colors and watching an idea come to life on a surface pulled me in, and I never looked back.

In those early years I fell in love with trompe-l'oeil — the art of "fooling the eye." I painted stone and brick right onto walls, adding windows and openings that seemed to lead somewhere else entirely. There is a special kind of magic in creating a view of wonder where there was nothing but a flat wall before, and that feeling of transformation has stayed with me ever since.

Discovering chalk paint opened up a whole new avenue for me. Suddenly I could take on larger projects — breathing new life into furniture and giving tired, forgotten pieces a second story to tell. What started as painting scenes on walls grew into transforming the very pieces that fill a home, from dressers and side tables to one-of-a-kind statement pieces.

For the past three years I have been a proud Dixie Belle Paint distributor. Working with this paint line and its beautiful embellishments has given me an endless imagination for what is possible. From rich bronze patinas to bold, colorful finishes, there is always a new technique to explore and a new idea waiting to come to life.

One of the things I love most is sharing what I have learned. Whether you are a seasoned painter or picking up a brush for the very first time, I enjoy helping people stretch their own abilities and discover what they are capable of creating. There is nothing better than watching someone light up when they finish a project they never thought they could tackle.

At the heart of everything I do through Ivory Peacock Studio is that same sense of wonder — creating it, sharing it, and helping others find it in their own hands.
